Last Friday, Randi was awarded Outstanding Elementary Music Educator for 2007-2008 year in Utah. I was surprised that she didn't tell anyone about this, but was grateful that I was able to make it. Steve had called from his work to see if I could go take pictures in case he didn't make it in time. He surprised Randi with his trip up and I was wishing I had called the Davenport kids. It so awesome to be in the family of such a wonderful educator of young minds--especially with music. Way to go Randi!!! Hope Steve took you out for a really nice dinner!!
