st. patties day, a party?...

st. patties day, a party?... hello to all! and how is everyone feeling today? so, st. patricks day to me holds no special memories. all i know is that if i don't flippin wear green, which i totally don't look good in, i get pinched! so not cool! but seriously, i can't remember much about anything special happening on that day and i never went to any parties. i've seen plenty of st patties partying on the tube, but that just looked like a beer fest. at any rate, i'm sure it can be a fun occasion and i'd like to hear more about it. wait! i do remember going out to the big field at the elementary school when i was in 3rd or 4th grade and looking for four leaf clovers with my friends. i thought i would find one, especially because it was st. patricks day. boy was i wrong! no such luck. however, even without those darned clovers, i've found that i have been very lucky. since that disappointment of a clover hunt, i have cheated death at least three times, two of those episodes i have eric to thank. which brings me to my next point. i have eric. that officially makes me the luckiest girl alive.( i won't be offended if all the girls in the family disagree, but in the end, we all know who's right!) i have an excellent family, all of which i love very much. we have food in our bellies and a roof over our heads. sorry about the thanksgiving speech, but seriously, i think that we've all been very lucky, despite the shortage of four leaf clovers. oh, and i know that every one has heard the story, but another lucky thing: eric has an interview for school in AZ. that isn't really even luck. that is because a total genius applied for school adn works hard to impress the committee. we will go down on the 15th of march and return home on saturday the 17th, unless there is a suns game to see or something! we would like to humbly ask everyone to remember eric in your prayers, especially as we get closer to the interview date. anyway, we look forward to hanging out with ashley and ethan. we just found out today that joe will be in havasupi, lucky buns! but we look forward to hanging out with them in st. george! should be loads of fun! i have to make a public apology. eric and i promise to get some pics on the blog. i'm not exactly what you'd call computer literate, so give me a bit to experiment and i'll figure out something.hope all is well and we'll keep you posted on the whole school thing!much love, eric and sara (eric roberts approves this message.)

Clapton-in-training

Can you believe this is Coby's son? What gives it away? His stunning good looks? His adorable personality and ability to please people? Or perhaps, is it obsession with the guitar?!
It only took (almost) 8 months for Ben to become completely twitterpatted (sp?) with the musical instrument. He has to be in the same room with his dad if he's playing it-- or he'll just stare in the direction of where the music is coming from. He "dances" as Coby plays-- and obviously jumps at the chance to strum his own tune. I don't know which he gets more excited for--- eating or playing the guitar? Sound like anyone else you know???

Well we have a new poo picture that beats the last one by leaps and bounds, but I am not sure the censors will approve it for posting?! So, I'll save you and your carpet the some throw-up--- unless I hear otherwise.

Hey Family Damily,

I'm at work and just thought I'd check in and share with you background picture on my phone. I call it " little nekid Ethan Boy" I sure love the little guy. I also wanted to say thank you to everyone for making this thing so successful. I sure love being able to hear from you all and share memories. It gets hard sometimes being so far away from you all so it's nice to be able to watch our little families grow from a distance. Someone needs to give tyler a lesson on how to post and what not. We'd also love to hear from dad and mom as well. If they need help setting up a gmail account, help them out so they can log on and post.

Anyway, we sure love you guys. I'm sercretly planning a trip up there in about a month...but don't tell Ashley...oops....well, we'll see you then.

First of all ethan looks soo cute with his bear! laura and josh looks like they had a fun valintines day. Lauras cone sounded soo good . Jeff and terra the house really is wonderful and your kids are so cute I love love love that photo of ryland.Sara and eric were a big help to jill and I as sara was able to watch ben as Jill and I enjoyed a night out on the town I got jill a book she has been wanting for Valentines and she did a really really sweet thing.Do you guys know the belt buckles we got from grandma that were from grandpa's collection? Well jill put mine in a box frame with this photo of me and grandpa(one of my most cherrished possesions) and made it real special for me.

Well if you haven't heard our family is trying to buy the house next door to us. No not the castle/del taco one. It is a really nice stucco one on a 1/3 acre lot and it is 1989 sq. ft. 3 bedroom with an office/bedroom so really 4 bedroom and 2 1/2 bath. We are really excited and trying not to count the chickens before they hatch. Meaning we have all the pre-limenary approvals but still in the long process of signing and under-writing. Here are some pics of the inside and I will put some outside pics on later but the house isn't finished yet and there are alot of touch-ups. Anyway we are very excitied about this step in our lives.

Armageddon, Uncle Joey, and Wicked Ben and Jerry's icecream

Hello ALL!

Last Weds was Armageddon in NC. The ultimate battle between good and evil took place---UNC vs. DUKE. Since UNC's mascot is a Ram, Josh likes to refer to it as the "ram of God." And Duke's mascot is a Blue Devil representing the absolute most wicked thing to ever step foot on a basketball court. Have no fear! The Carolina boys were victorious and peace once again reigned in the land.

We celebrated our Valentines a few days early. We went to Raleigh (Raw-lee, not Ray-lee) for the night and went to a comedy show. It was both of our first times ever going to a comedy show and it definately is not our last time going. Guess who we saw!? You know him from Full House as the sandy mullet-ed fun loving Uncle Joey. He did all the really stupid voices for "America's Funniest People." He did.... Well, I'm not really sure, but stuff---It was Dave Coulier! No worries--his show was pg-13. It was a really great show.

We got to Raleigh at around 5:30. We found a resturant called "The Raleigh Times." It had really good food, cool looking bathrooms and "college-y" music like The Flaming Lips. It took them a really really long time to get our food. We don't really know why. All we know is that our waitress kept apologizing and said "I heard what happened. I'm so sorry. Here are some free fried dill pickles." For all we know, the cook burst into flames in the back. I didn't really like the pickles but Josh did. It was his first time having them. Then we left and drove around Raleigh and passed the NC States campus like 5 times. We found a Ben and Jerry's and we went inside. They had tastey looking "specialty" cones such as the Phish cone. I got that one. It was full of carmel. Lots of it. I mean loads of it. Like spilling all over the table. Josh got a cookie jar cone. His was full of whipped cream and cookie bits. I don't know if it was worth the $10's we paid for it. Besides it made us go Crazzzzzzyyyyyyy!!!1

But what the heck. It was our Valentines Day!

We love and miss you all and hope you have a love overdose on Valentines Day!

so at first the baby hunger wasn't too bad. i had nieces and nephews and enough to keep me happy. but now, seeing all of those pictures, i can just hardly stand it! those kids are beautiful! all of them. Tasia, Ryand, Dandin, Ethan and Ben. i cannot believe how cute they are! well, i can, but seriously! so now, even though we've been ready to have a lil chillin for the past year, it is worse now, more than ever! at any rate, we can wait for the Lords time. aside from a totally awesome husband that makes me the happiest i've ever been, those kids make me so happy. they cheer me up and make me laugh.
i think we've pretty much told everyone about this, but Eric has withdrawn from classes this semester. We feel it is more important for him to work towards his pharm tech license than to take a few classes that will only count for one school. we won't know anything for awhile, but as soon as we do, ya'll can expect a call. Eric is also working at his brothers dental lab in the morning. He helps make peoples crowns and what not. so he is at work from 8:30 in the morning until about 9:00 at night. that makes for a long work day for him, but he seems to survive. that gives me plenty of time to accomplish all of the tasks of a perfect wife! :)
thank you to everyone for using this blog religiously! it is so awesome to hear how everyone is doing and to be able to show off everyone to the people at work.

Happy Superbowl Day From the washington hunts

So I have been pondering who it is that I want to win the superbowl.I have decided that my choice could only be one animal and that animal doesnot exist. No Jeff its not a unicorn.If a baby horse (otherwise known as a Colt) and a Bear had a baby that creature is who I would want to win the super bowl. Im just thankfull that we will be getting together to enjoy it.Thats my favorite part.Its that we are all such great friends as adults.I love you all and may the best creature win.
