Happy Birthday Coby & Toby!!!

Coby turns 32-years-old today and couldn't be better (I am assuming since he left for work really early this morning). We had cake last night at Grandpa Steve's--a yummy Dairy Queen ice-cream cake. It was fun, but reminded me of how many family members are left here--not that many.

Coby, Ben and I went out to Enterprise last weekend to visit Great-grandma Hunt and to put some birthday flowers on Toby's grave. It is always emotional for us to visit his grave and I felt honored to leave some fall flowers there for him-- including two sunflowers representing the twin brotherhood they still share. For me, it is always emotional to think about the brother I haven't met yet. Just knowing the other three brothers and knowing the kind of man/husband/friend Coby (and each of you are)-- I would say honestly that the world missed out, but Heaven sure gained one remarkable spirit. I can't wait to meet Toby and thank him for always watching over his twin, the love of my life-- Coby.
I hope that each year on their birthdays we can be thankful for three wonderful things-- Coby, Toby and eternal families!

My Latest Project.....

I wanted to get your opinions on this sculpture of details that I could change in order to make it look more real. I am really putting my heart into this and would like sincere feedback on what to do. I would be greatful for any input into the matter. The sculpture is not finished and will take some time but I am excited about it.

Cool Huh!

So I was driving down the freeway and looked above and saw a helicopter. You know me I love things that fly and maybe one day I will be able to get my pilots license. Anyway I continued to follow it with my eyes and to my supreez it landed right in front of my house(HOLY COW) I guess the Highway Patrol was assisting the local S.W.A.T. and undercover COPS in some training where they flew them to the top of Pine Valley. Anyway here is the proof!

Lovin' it!

We had such a nice visit to Utah last weekend. We went to Temple Square and saw all the sites. That's probablt my fav thing about Salt Lake.

We found this doozy of a contraption at Costco. It seems that all Ethan likes to do lately is is crawl under, over, and through things so this fit just nicely. We threw a couple of marshmellows in there and off he went! And to think, it only cost $30!!

First thought that came to my mind....

Well I am at Greensboro Library checkin' e--mail blogger stuff, there is a couple of girls across the way that have this fake baby and it's crying I bet it's from a class at school...you should see the way there talking to there little sister oh and just hitting her, you know that's normal....shewww I wish I could knock people up side the head sometimes.

Well today is my day off and I've been trying to work out doing Billy Blanks Basic Boot Camp...it's kickin' my trash! Anyway I tried to find a hiking trail and/or just someplace to get some fresh air out of the city but.... I went driving around for about an hour and couldn't find anything but houses...maybe I was looking in the wrong places I even went to an outdoors store before I started looking and the trail is on the map but it seems like when I went to find it, it vanished hummm...it's nothing like Utah's simple trails I'd give anything to just get something like snow canyon park! I know of a place Josh and I went to last year it's up by Mount Airy it's called Pilot Mountain long drive though. nuff about this hikin stuff.

School for Josh and I is doing very well I've already had Test in all my classes...I look at them more of challenge of the things I know than test. Test are scary.I've gotten above average in all my classes! How exciting eh? YEah! As for Josh he's doing very well also. I told you how much of a load he has..He's got a study group this Sunday for 2 hours on medical terminology. There going to play Jeopardy. Sound like a load of fun....maybe for Josh and Eric...heheheh I am just kidding!No but serious.

(SIDE NOTE) Oh great now there's real baby that is crying...Let me tell you right now Brothers and sisters! Laura Hunt Sheets and Joshua Ashton Sheets are waiting a couple of years before they have the cutest little baby ever!

well it's about time I leave the library before I get the hives...I am starting to itch!

Georgia vacation

We returned Sunday from our 8-day vacation to my humid homeland of Georgia. We had such a blast and it was nice to finally have a "real" vacation instead of just a visit home (although we did visit some old friends of mine). It was great for my parents to spend time with Ben and for them to witness him walking all over the place---yes, I said walking. He took his first steps before we left for vacation, but now is walking really well-- and falling on his hind end respectfully.

We went to the Stone Mountain Laser Show, Georgia Aquarium, Coca-Cola museum, the Varsity, Waffle House, Atlanta Braves game, Southern Civil War museum in my hometown to name a few places. It was a load of fun and Ben (as well as his parents) were completely spoiled by Mimi and Papa Prichard.

Here's some of the photos from out trip...

Coca-Cola museum.... Ben loved the Polar Bear...he wanted to snuggle it and kept laughing at it. My mom and dad are below also with the bear and a cool classic Coke car.
















Coby and Ben at the Aquarium. Below is a beautiful squid and a large, ugle fish that is larger than pictured. I may never swim in the ocean again.


















Coby and Ben are pictured below touching sting rays...Ben got a little too close and got some yummy salt water on him! I touched one...it was really slimy and it scared me to pieces. In case you didn't know... I have a huge fear of fish, so going here was more than amazing, but touching some of them and looking at them freaked me out. You'll see some pics that will make you think twice about what's in the water next time you're swimming.

Well... we're glad to be back in St. George and getting back to our routine and out of the humidity. We miss the food, fun and my family...but, love to dry southern Utah weather!!

Beaver Mountain Trip

Hey I know it was just a few days ago when I updated this blog but, here are some pictures from the trip we just took.

These are Alaskan White Mountain Goats. They are transplanted from Oregon, Canada, and Alaska. They love the high terrain and we hiked to the top of the mountain where they live. 12,195 ft. The third tallest mountain in Utah. It was hard and I got altitude sickness from coming down to quick. I had the most severe lung pain that I have ever felt, and my ears ached really bad. Anyway I am still alive. We had lots of fun.
