We're still alive and well...

Hello everybody! Long time no speak! i cannot believe how much my nieces and nephews can grow in one short month. they are all growing so fast. Eric and i are doing well here in Missoula. We absolutely love i! i miss my family tremendously, but i'm loving it here. We have made so many friends and we have 3 close pharmacy students and their wives as are best friends. we hang out with them on a regular basis. That makes the absence of family a little less painful. We have been having fun with them. At any rate, i know that i have promised time and again that i would post some picture, but seriously... this time i am serious. My friend Christine is a Mac/Blogger expert. She is going to give me a blogging lesson and show me some creative things to do with them. i'm excited. She says she is going to make me part of the blogisphere. i thought that was funny. After 6 years of being out of young womens, i have returned. the Bishop called me to be the Young Womens secretary. the first words the YW pres said was, "you'll LEARN to love the girls." that's never a good sign. they seem sweet, but these girls all have rough spots that theyve gone through in their short lives. some i wonder if they've ever had a smooth spot. Anyway, i sure hope i can help the girls and let them know that there are people who care and understand and really want to love them and be their friends. the fall colors are amazing and i can't believe the beauty i am surrounded by. The Lord sure knew what he was doing. We took pictures of some of the trees around town. they are yellow with highlights of pink. It is so crazy. i have never seen anything like it. and these big bright neon orange trees too. we will post those pictures too. Eric's sister said on the Today show they said right now the best fall colors can be seen in Glacier park and (drumroll) Missoula Montana. they aren't lying. it is beautiful! i have posted this old picture just to see if i could and also so that no one would forget what eric and i look like. it sounds like everyone is doing well. i have tried calling tyler a few times and his voice mail is always full, so if someone talks to tyler, please give him my new number and tell him to please call me. i'd sure like him to know that i live in Montana now!
the bad news now is that eric and i can't go to St. George for Christmas. i have to work on Christmas Eve and the day after. so lame! so we'll try to work out something. i'm very bummed, but we'll work out something. i sure hope to see everyone soon, although we don't know if it will be thanksgiving or spring break. we'll keep ya'll posted.
we're doing great! hope all is well in your neck of the woods. talk to ya'll soon!

I'll be the first to admit that it really stinks that you're not coming home for Christmas...after all knowing that we'd see you soon after you left made it bearable for y'all to move. Do I smell trickery?!?!? Just teasing!

It is so good to hear/read that you're doing so well in your new corner of the world. What an exciting part of your life!

Two things to remember:
1. How's the monthly reading coming along Sara?
and
2. Can you believe Laura and Josh have almost been married for one year?!?!? Where does time go?

**Not to mention our nephews turning one soon---Dandin & Ethan!!

I am so glad you're going to be in YW! Could there be any other calling more perfect for you? I think you'll be great for them especially if they're a little different.
